Re: Brian

He's not arrived on the North Wales coast yet, I'll go and batten down the hatches in readiness.

Re: Brian

It's lovely blue sky here at the moment, but pretty blustery.
Stay safe everyone.

Re: Brian

Once again it appears to have swerved by us

We were on amber alert for flooding Thursday tea time , but no more rain then usual and certainly never noticed it any breezier then usual

For those hit, hope it passes soon and you don't suffer too much inconvience

Re: Brian

It has been wet and windy all night here but the proper storm Brian is due to arrive around 10am and last till 4pm.

I have already been out across the fields with Chloe, I am scared to go in the wind because branches keep falling off the old trees.

A couple of years ago I took Chloe out at night and a huge branch broke off a yew tree just after I had walked underneath it taking down part of the church wall and blocking the lane. You can hear the old trees creaking when walking underneath them, it is quite unnerving .

Stay safe everyone

Re: Brian

Brian arrived here earlier this morning - getting blustery downpour showers interspersed with a few minutes intervals of blue sky.

Lovely sunshine here at the moment although a little windy. We are meant to have our carnival tonight but there are rumours that it might be cancelled.

Re: Brian

Since they (Media) started giving these situations names, instead of the good old fashioned "Force 9" description, every windy day has become a worthy news opportunity.

Down here in Berkshire it's Sunny, with light rain, occasionally, and, a force 2 breeze.

Bit like a Yorkshire Summer in fact!
