Good morning everybody on this last day of August.I've got my MRI scan later this morning. I'm dreading it because of the claustrophobic closeness of the tunnel. Hope I manage to get through it without pressing the panic button.
Really I don't see why my head has to be in the tunnel when the scan is on my back & thigh..
Afterwards Tony is going to treat me to a pub lunch and maybe we'll go a nice walk this afternoon.

buenas dias all. Grey and cloudy, feeling nice and cool at the minute. Yesterday's rain has really freshened things up and damped the dust down. Rain also forecast for today but it hasn't arrived yet. Nothing special planned. Have a pleasant day all.31-08-2017, 09:09 AM

I know what you mean in the hi-lighted bit Carol, I fet just the same once. You'd think they would let you go right through and have your head out the other end if they are scanning the lower body wound't you.
I really don't like the inside of the scanner being so close to my face either, and get over it by keeping my eyes closed so I can't see the 'ceiling'. I manage OK that way, but I must keep my eyes shut.
Try it, and I think you will be fine as long as you are not tempted to open your eyes. Good luck.

Good morning all, lovely and bright but much cillier and thundery showers forecast for later.
Just a few odd jobs to do this morning and my mum is coming over for lunch, driving again for the first time since her operation so I guess she must have recovered.... incredible really..

P.S. that's good advice from Mups Carol, just relax and close your eyes and think of pleasant things to distance yourself from what's happening around you, it works for me....

Good morning all bright and sunny here, a good day for drying the washing.Daughter and grandchildren coming for lunch today. I'll get my 6'1 14 year old grandson to lop some overhanging branches for me before the leaves begin to drop everywhere.
