Fake Tan

They say too much sun gives you wrinkles and crepy skin.
How can that be when we all need Vitamin D from sunshine?

Lots of people now have regular expensive Tanning sessions,
or but fake tan lotion.

Doesn't it come off on the sheets? ..even if waterproof.
I hate stained sheets.

How can you dye your own skin?.

Re: Fake Tan

Isn't there supposed to be a pill that can be taken for giving a tanned look?

My memory bank has filed something away about that

It's great if you want to appear orange.

Re: Fake Tan

I've never tried them but understand the pills can make the palms of your hands orange too. Weren't they full of beta carotene?

I went through a tanning salon phase back in the early noughties. It was nice but not very good for the skin. Used to make me feel great though, that buzz you get after being in the sun.

A friend and I tried fake tan in our last year at school. It worked out well for her but I didn't like it. Everyone's skin tans a slightly different shade.

Re: Fake Tan

Many years ago, l used to put Tanfastic self tanning cream on my face and neck! I also tried Clarins self tanning lotion but l was allergic to it!
I think it only stained my hands if l didn't wash them properly after application.
I have never been on a sun bed.

Re: Fake Tan

I liked the stand up tanning booth, the beds are icky as you lie on the same glass as other people. In the stand up booth you don't touch anything and there is a lovely wind like being on a beach.
