See that makes no sense to me at all, firemen risk lives to get the piglets out alive then eat them. Just puzzles me why anyone would risk their life like that for something thought of so little.I know it's farming but didn't they deserve a better life after that trauma ?
Yes I a veggie but I have no problem with anyone eating meat it's just risking lives to do it has me befuddled.

This was discussed on Jeremy Vine's show today.Bottom line, a pig farm raises pigs for meat. Bacon, ham, hocks, sausages, snouts and trotters etc.
Can't really be upset for making sausages really.
One radio caller said, what if one of the firefighters had died in the blaze? Wouldn't giving them sausages then seem quite insensitive?
Dunno really.
Overall it seems to be just an opportunity for militant veggies to have a whinge.
