Talking to the dead..

I decided to go to the cemetery this morning with some flowers for mum's birthday which is on Monday.
I found myself talking to her without realising I was doing it... Good thing I was alone there!!

Does anybody else talk to the dead I wonder?

Re: Talking to the dead..

Yes we do the rounds of the crematorium, local church yard and common, I chat to nan, grandad, tasha, my mil and my babies. May sound morbid but I sort a lot of my problems out talking them through with them.

Sometimes I even have a laugh with them telling them what's been going on, its a wonder I've never been taken away by men in white coats thinking about that

My Mum passed away 23 years today and I said "Thinking of you Mum" in my mind .... not out loud though.

Re: Talking to the dead..

When I go the cemetery where my parents are, I talk to them, and I see/hear other people doing the same, so don't worry Carol, lots of us do the same. If not out loud, we do it mentally.

Re: Talking to the dead..

I have done it occasionally, but usually at home. I think people want to share things with their passed, loved ones, maybe it helps to give them confidence in their important decisions.
Putting something into words, to somebody you always trusted, may not bring any answer..... but it often makes you more confident in your decision.
