Good morning all you cheery souls, (and the others) rain stopped now after a wet old night, still very mild though and a chance of some sun later perhaps...

Nothing much on my agenda other than inspecting and maybe repairing my mum's garage roof, which has apparently sprung a leak. Sometimes the excitement never stops......

Aaah - one of my favourite places Barry. I've not climbed Mam Tor for many a year - don't think I could now! lol

I have some click & collect orders to pick up from Debenhams today so it means a run to their nearest branch in Mansfield town. I don't know why I didn't just pay the postage and saved myself a journey!!

I want to try & get my downstairs windows cleaned before we go.

Good morning fellow members a mild pleasant morning here.

Once the floor is dry in the kitchen I am going to do some baking, goats cheese tarts and more mince pies.
I have only had one mince pie so far out of the three dozen I have made, I thought I had made far too much mincemeat but it is going down fast

Morning all.

Great photo, Barry. We do have some gorgeous scenery in this country, don't we?

Doing some more washing, so that it's all dry by tomorrow for when Paul gets here again. Did some towels yesterday.

Off to Homebase to get a refund on the bathroom light. Paul can't connect it, and the glass bowl is difficult to remove from the base, so that's £24 going back into the project pot! Lol. (Bulbs are £2 each)

Also got the pork pies in the fridge (bought to feed the workers, but uneaten and now past their BB date), that I can take for the foxes over the allotment. So that's another job to do.

And a roast pork dinner to do sometime. Enjoy your Sunday.
