Airing Your Knickers On The Radiators?

Are you guilty of this? Well l have learned my lesson after what happened to me yesterday!
There l was, chatting away to the delivery man who l had to allow into my hallway to drop off a heavy parcel. I was just signing the delivery form when out of the corner of my eye l was aware of my seven giant pairs of knickers airing on the radiator!
I quickly, slid them along to the end of the radiator and apologised to him! He said he hadn't noticed! What? They were the size of parachutes!
So l ask, do you air your knickers or other items of clothing on your radiators? Have you ever had an embarrassing moment like l did?

Yes I do Art, but I make it a rule always to take 'em off first.

I did have several bra's and pairs of drawers hanging in my airing cupboard a while ago, and the poor gas man nearly got strangled when he stuck his head in there. Leapt out at him they did.

A comment that befits a gentleman - he was sparing your blushes.

I dry my undies and t-shirts on a clothes horse put in front of the radiator so the heat can get into the room.

Funny how they are called that isn't it. Wonder how that came about? I mean, they don't call a towel rack a towel horse do they, or a coat stand a coat horse?

In this bad weather I hang our stuff over the clothes horse and on the rad. in the dining room.
Couldn"t hang hubs pants on rad as people might think they were a parachute.
Mind you mine are getting a bit bigger these days.
Still we gals have got to have our comfort eh.

What! With my green credentials? Never.

Besides, in true Yorkshire fashion, I'm too tight to pay for the electric they use.
