Those awful songs

There are many songs i really detest but the two that stick in my mind at the moment are Ray Stevens - The Streak and Chuck Berry - My ding a ling and those American sob songs such as Honey by Bobby Garlsboro? Give me a bucket someone quick!! ;-(

I'm not a fan of Tom Jones but I do like some of his songs .... but that one sets my teeth on edge !!!!

I quite like the song Delilah! It's quite a strong and forceful song!

I can't bear, 'Lady In Red' by Chris de Burgh. I put my fingers in my ears and sing, 'lal lal lal' loudly!

I always find that any song from the past provokes memories, whether I liked them or not, and all those memories are part of my life so I don't really hate any of them.

BTW. The song Honey was voted the most sadly sentimental song some years ago, Ebony Eyes was second & Cliffs Miss You Nights third. I love sad songs, they make me cry.

You might be surprised to find i think Honey,by Bobby Goldsboro to be a quality and well crafted song.

Not as good as "Big eyed beans from Venus" mind.

Anything sung by Cliff Richard sounds the same, the titles change but the music is terrible
