Another question

Can the gentlemen on this forum please tell me why so many men leave their Christmas shopping until Christmas Eve?
Is there a particular reason for that?

Re: Another question

i suppose it’s because most men hate shopping Mups, they then leave it until the last minute, that and laziness is probably why, I leave it all to the wife now, she enjoys it so let her go ahead, all I have to do is provide the lolly.

Re: Another question

Not in my case Jem, for me it added to the festive feeling as Christmas Eve was often the first day off i had from work so out early and though i had preconceived ideas of what i wanted but it was nice to buy things that i had not thought of.
Then spending Christmas Eve wrapping things while quaffing a few Brandys, felt a bit more in the spirit of the season.

Also prevented the serial present feeler from sneaking about doing her dastardly best from spoiling the surprise

Re: Another question

Mainly because the ladies in my household and family can't make their minds up on what they want until the last minute, resulting in a mad rush a couple of days before Xmas, it's the women's fault!

Re: Another question

Good for you Nom. My Son is like you in that respect, he loves all the wrapping and writing of the tag cards, not to mention the few brandies, he takes after his Mother a lot.

Re: Another question

The men in my Family never ever bought presents for anyone, it's left to us women to find suitable gifts & then charge them.

Re: Another question

All of our presents to all.. or rather most..of our family are now wrapped and labelled and will be given out at the beginning of December this year. My wife's present will be bought in New Zealand. It will remind her of the wonderful time we spent over there with our grandkids which will very possibly be the last time we visit them.
