A witty put down would probably be lost on him, will prison teach him anything, i doubt it.

Good for her but a bad choice of word, she should have used another of the many swear words available, I'm no saint but the "C" word is out for me, never used it in me life and never will.

I think that by lowering herself to his standards, she reduced her own standing. Judges have always been respected in court, even if not by the criminal they are trying, and I am sure I would have lost respect for somebody who could not find a more authoritative way to speak to him.

No she didn't but if you think she did UJ I can't say I am surprised with your liking for a daily dose of abusive name calling.

Judges should set an example of good behaviour not behave like those who come before them.

That is until they make some massive cock-up with too lenient sentencing or out of touch comments. Remember the judge telling the rape victim that she could have kept her knees together?
