Queens birthday cake. What a disaster!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-Birthday.html

Well I've never seen anything so hideous and uninteresting as this. It's not like she was baking against the clock either.

It is totally boring and looks crooked. I guess the queen had to pretend she liked it but wonder what Philip said about it?

Is it a disaster - not sure
I thought it was hat boxes at first - unusual anyway
At least it was 'different' and hopefully tasted mighty good

Oh dear! It looks like stacked hat boxes!
My daughter who lives in London arranged for a Rainbow cake to be made for someone who was leaving their job in her office. It cost £52 but at least it looked better than that!!

Im very suprised at this cake ,I think Nadiya couldve done something far more detailed and fitting for the occasion, this cake just looks as if no effort really has gone into the planning of it.

I thought they were hat boxes and I also wonder if it was meant to be lop sided. It looked very amateurish. I wouldn't have been very happy if I had such a cake made for a special occasion. Hopefully it tasted better than it looked.

I suppose at a pinch if you're stumped what to bake a Queen just sling together a three tiered cake with different coloured icing.
