Caught Red Handed?
Have you any experience of being caught red handed, bang to rights where overwhelming evidence outweighs alternative explanations?I've just been to see my mum and she was talking about my childhood to a nurse. She told her of the time I was caught smoking at school.
I was with some friends behind the infamous bike sheds when the Deputy Head appeared. As quick as a flash I stubbed the cigarette and placed it in my blazer inside pocket, followed by denial of any wrong doing, until smoke started to appear from inside my blazer. The cigarette wasn't extinguished and my blazer was smouldering away. Bang to rights.
