Had to laugh

Grace wears a school hat, she keeps leaving it or losing it and it's not cheap so knowing how windy it was when I came home last night I sewed elastic to go under her chin thinking that will keep it on her head.

Well she did look funny when she put it on I had sewn the strap from front brim to back not side to side as planned.

Teach me to not do things when I am tired, but did give us a laugh on the way to school.

No it was carried she wanted to show her teacher how badly she is treated at home

Sounds like something I'd have done, Julie, I'm not very good with a needle. You being so practical I can't believe you did it !!

Hey I make mistakes too I am currently unpicking a sleeve I got carried away knitting that would only really fit a gorilla - about 7 inches too long

Ah yes - you must concentrate on the task at hand, terrible waste of wool

No wool wasted Patsy I am balling it as I go so will knit it up on the collar.

Clever - I always ended up with more stitches than when I started, its a gift and I ain't got it
