Your Birthday Suit

Did you walk about in your birthday suit in front of your children when they were little?
Do you believe it's OK, or wrong?

Re: Your Birthday Suit

We didn't because they were not our own children if we had children of our own it may have been a different answer.
I think it's important children are not ashamed of their bodies and I think they can only learn that by us not being ashamed of ours. I saw the picture I believe caused you to ask and all I could see was a very loving father having a fun bath time with his son. The only thing concerned me a little was it was out there for so many to see that does seem a bit odd. But it could be I am just not so up with the modern ideas of sharing everything with the entire world.

Re: Your Birthday Suit

The only time I'm starkers is when I'm in the shower or changing my clothes. Even Sheila can't remember what I look like naked.

No I would never dream of frolicking around the house naked at anytime, kids or no kids, I’m afraid I’m old fashioned that way.

Re: Your Birthday Suit

Never walked around naked in front of mine, just don't think it's right. If they ever saw me naked ....eeeek.... then it was only briefly - and accidental!
I have a little grandson now and he always has to ask me something when I'm in the shower! Kids are curious so I don't make a fuss, he'll grow out of it soon enough.

Re: Your Birthday Suit

Walk around naked, no chance, mossies biting legs and arms are bad enough. However when my son was small he would often come into the bathroom if one of us was taking a bath and happily prattle away, it never seemed to phase him out.
