Mystery

Having been out most of the day I returned home, took the shopping out of the car, put it down outside the gate and went in my handbag for the gate keys, all my keys are on one key ring which is very distinctive, it was made for me by a Masai man. I must point out that the only time I have ever had my keys lost was when Mr Clumsy took them, along with his own and left them elsewhere. However today I could not find my keys, I looked in the car, under the seats, turned my handbag out, no keys, so I had to ring the gate bell for Mr Clumsy to let me in. We searched the bag again, nothing, all I could think of was they must have come out when I took my purse or something out of the bag, but then I am sure I would have heard them fall or felt them, there are quite a few keys. There is no name or address on the keys so it was more of an annoyance than anything.

A few minutes ago I decided yet again to check the bag, everything out, shook the bag, felt all around the inside, no jangling but suddenly Mr Clumsy thought one corner felt as if there was something there. Further inspection and it proved to be my keys, they were between the lining and the outer bag. The mystery is how did they get there, and how did they get so stuck in the corner they didnīt move, you see we have examined every bit of the lining, inside the interior and outer zip pockets, everywhere................there is no hole ! How could a bunch of keys get inside the lining of the bag when there is no hole anywhere? There must be a logical explanation but as yet I havenīt come up with one and itīs driving me crazy, well more crazy than I usually am.

Did I inadvertently perform a magic trick, is there an "invisible" hole, if so will I ever find it? I will be up and down all night now checking and re checking this bag

Good thinking, ruthio.

Clumsy, sounds to me like the gremlins are back amongst us.
They got up to all sorts last year.

Re: Mystery

How did we get them out? We havenīt, they are still in the bag, more investigation will follow in the morning. I donīt want to cut holes in the lining unless I really have to. The damned keys went in there somewhere, somehow, so I need to find out where and how, until then they stay where they are.

Re: Mystery

Maybe the keys went into a pocket you didn't know the bag had. I know Mrs Mart's handbag has pockets that magically appear and disappear.

Re: Mystery

There is clearly an opening but presumably it only appears when the bag is in a certain position. Also it is possible that there is a separate piece of material in the bottom of the bag, perhaps something stiff. If so remove this and that might reveal where the hole is. The keys could have gotten under that bottom piece and into the lining from there.

I blame it on theLa rge Haldron Collider. Interfering with the fundamentals of nature and introducing wormholes all over the universe! You have a wormhole in your handbag.
