Yes, its amazing what an impact a picture can make. They can be very powerful and stay with you for a while.

It's true Markey, the human race has so little to be proud of while we are capable of inflicting such wanton pain and suffering, or while we seem incapable of stopping it.

This girl shouldn't even know what surrendering means at her age. Poor little thing. I do hope she and the other children are now safe from harm.

Photography is a very powerful medium, remember the little girl fleeing from a naplam bomb attack in Vietnam. A picture can replace a thousand words and still haunt you decades after the event.
