Walk from my front door to the end of our path or to my car. Mad dog which has at various times almost killed one of my dogs or had me pinned against the bin doors holding another dog above my head while it bit me tends to make any trip out rather an ordeal. 4 years it has been causing problems we don't even get a post delivery these days

Thankfully I'm retired now and don't have to do any stressful work anymore, I do my best to avoid stress, it can be a killer in itself.However, coming up on the 26th Dec. is the big Kempton Park Race meeting and picking winners there can be stressful indeed, the wife has witnessed me turning various shades in the face and tearing tufts of badly needed hair from my demented head, if it were not for the cigars and the large glass of port within my reach I would be a bald and nervous wreak by now I can assure you.

I can remember Mum saying to my Dad once "Pick me a winner" when she caught him picking his nose!!! aaggh!

My job was stressful, but i grew into it over the years and learned to handle everything tossed my way. But other factors started to impinge on my life, and what was once tolerable gradualy descended into unbearable. A little bit of stress is motivational, too much can be very destructive.
