The builder had the plans upside-down. This was at "hexentanzplatz" meaning "witches dancing place". The subject of witches is a theme of the Harz area of Germany.In Goethe's Faust Walpurgis Night was supposed to have taken place at the summit of Brocken, the region's highest mountain.

Good morning everyone, looks to be a quiet start here but with showers forecast again for later....

My Mum is coming for lunch so we are having a spring clean (a little overdue) and I'm cooking a mild chicken Korma with blueberry cheesecake for pud ....yum yum...

buenas dias all. There was a lot of activity around here at approximately 1.45 a.m. due to the fact it began raining, everyone getting up to take sunbed cushions etc indoors. It was an exciting event here, we´ve forgotten what rain is ! However it only rained for a very short time but maybe more today, there´s a definite change right now, it´s much cooler, only about 26/7C at the minute, overcast, cloudy and breezy. According to the forecast back to normal by Monday so we´ll enjoy feeling cooler just for a while. Off to my Thursday coffee morning very soon, Mr Clumsy will pick me up from there and it´s off to the hospital, he has an appointment with a specialist re his finger which has developed this curling, refusing to do as it´s told thing. They were on the ball with the appointment, he was at the doctor´s yesterday, she made the hospital appointment for him today, can´t complain about having to wait can we? Have a pleasant day everyone.
