Childrens conception of time.

My Elizabeth is very interested in Jesus at the moment and she knows the Romans indirectly killed him.
They went to a Museum the other day as they had a lot of Roman displays and also nearby was a Giant Cross.
She was really interested in all of it and she said to my son
"Do you remember the day they killed Jesus?"
No, Darling.
Was Granny Sandra alive then
No Darling
Was Sandra's Mum alive then
No it was 2,000 years ago!!

It also brings to mind when my Michael was younger. He was also about 6 years old and I said I was born just after the War. He said which one was it the First World War.!!!

Kids eh who would have them!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Enjoyed reading that Sandy, I love the things they come out with.
I remember at school the teacher asking us what was our vision of Heaven, whats it like ? I said in me cockney voice 'Its full of bananas' !!
The reason for this was everyone was talking about bananas, its Heaven, they'd say - to have bananas ! Of course, this is one of the things they looked forward to after the war

Another I like, was a young boy reciting the Lords prayer,
Dear Father, who art in Heaven, Harold be thy name ....

I remember the bananas Patsy. Cant remember my first but it would have
been in the 1950's and shared as we didn't have anything without it being cut into four for me, my sister and two brothers, or in two for me and Sis.
Cant remember a fruit bowl until I was about 17. We were poor we were
