Why I like this forum ...

I like the moderation ...on here ...
They treat us like adults ..
My number 1 complaint on another forum ..
is if you go off topic just a slight bit ...
they are like buzzards all over you ...

Here the threads will flow like a regular conversation,,
even if you go off topic .. someone will eventually ..

I do agree with you ... it is genuine on here ...

They don't coax other members to write on new
members walls to make them feel welcome ... I know a
forum that does it .. to me it is misleading

I like the fact if you want to welcome someone on
the induction thread .. it is optional ..

It's optional on every forum I have ever been/am still a member of.

I doubt there is a forum anywhere where it is compulsary to post anywhere.

Goodness, I don't have the time to greet every new member, even though I may have been greeted myself. I use many forums and there is just not enough time in the day.

I like this forum because of the older age group, obviously. On one that I left, the new lot of members were just so young and obsessed. Got very tiring reading their childish (which they were) posts.

Of course there are disagreements on here, but nothing quite like what I read on there. If a journalist or other celebrity made negative comments about the forum's subjects, wow!! What vitriol and abuse. Rather than leap to their defence I quietly stopped posting and just never went back.

Prefer adult and mature rantings, lol!!
