Thanks
I know you enjoy a bit of trivia, but did you know how many of our expressions have their origins in falconry?
In pic 2 Tula is rousing her feathers ie. fluffing herself up & getting them all layed back into the proper fitting order. We tell someone to rouse themselves.

Re: Tula & Reg settled in

Totally. The Harris hawk is the only bird of prey that live and hunt in an extended family as a pack and theres a fascinating communication patter that goes on between them. Tula was hatched in an incubator and has not grown up with her parents yet she knew by instinct how to do all the bird things.

Reg the bird at the bottom is parent reared and is much different
