Nice pic DM.

We had a lot of bees this year, I planted lots of runner beans and they love the flowers on them.

Good picture-don't seem to have had many bees in my garden this year-don't know why as I had loads last year. Kept flying into my kitchen and I kept putting them back out again!.

We have carpenter bees here also, and the yard is full of them in the Spring at nesting time: they burrow into the wooden stockade fence! They look very scary, dozens of them zooming about, but they're not aggressive, don't bother people.
