The offending part on the vectra
Another clean machine folks.
The part's circled, it's only attached by 2 small screws, the bright aluminium part on the right of pic is the high pressure fuel pump that cost £400.
The black plastic tube is the fuel line from the fuel tank, note the blue tab on it, this is the quick release connector I mentioned, there's another one on the pipe going into the fuel pump on the right of pic, this is where the stupid mechanic should've disconnected it to see if fuel flowed through instead of replacing the whole pump which cost me £671 in total.
