Lake District Cumbria (picture heavy)

Thanks for your kind comments all ...
They were taken October 2007 we go most Autumns up there we are going again the begining of October but last year we went September (this week) and it was not a good week weather wise how different if it had been like it has been this week.. can't wait to go again ... We stay in a cottage in the Eden Valley it's about half hour to the lakes and half hour to the Yorkshire dales we love them both ...We are also going Spring next year as we have never been up there early so should be good ...

Looking at the photos again Suey, why do Britons have to go abroad for holidays with scenery like this.
