Autumnal trees

Took these last year.

A young Beech tree on Ben Ledi.

You've been framed.

Lower end of Loch Lubnaig.

The last leaves of the young Birches.

Re: Autumnal trees

I love autumn colours. Last year was beautiful. Some compensation for a wet summer, I suppose
I like the picture of Loch Lubnaig. It shows off the all the different colours.
I took this one at the park in Plean.

Aren't beech tree colours wonderful? I would say that's amber - how would you describe that gorgeous coppery colour?

Aren't trees gorgeous?
Wouldn't we be so poor without them?
What is killing the Horse Chestnut? They are looking so sick

There is a virus that's affecting Horse Chestnuts, which is very sad. I'll look it up and let you know more.

I think Nero and Jan work undercover for the Scottish Tourist Board. It always looks so beautiful there.

Re: Autumnal trees

Beautiful colours, I love looking at trees whatever stage of 'clothing' they are at, even bare they are a thing of beauty

We have had a couple of early frosts here and the leaves are turning early, because of this I think the colours will be spectacular this year...
