Its in the middle of Staffordshire..

Consall forge in its day was the old mines, its deep in a valley, and the Churnet Valley railway runs through it..(the steam train) you can get the train from Churnet Valley station/museum to the pup ...( the black loin)

there are 100`s of footpaths around serious walking terrain for you and your dogs..


You can either get to the pub by foot /car or train...

When I was a lad we used to live in Staffordshire, albeit briefly, two places, Heath Hays and Wednesbury, the thing I remember most was dragonflies, we don't see a lot up here because of the climate.
