Study In Light

I've visited this river house 4 times now photographing it with different lighting conditions. The photo was taken basically from the same spot so you can see the differences distinctly. I like both photos for different reasons. The sunrise version with clear skies is dramatic, with a great golden reflection. The foggy photo is less busy, quieter with an eerie mood that's calming. I posted the sunny photograph in a separate post but include it again here for comparison.

Very nice Bob

It's amazing how weather conditions can give the impression of two different scenes. I love the warmth in the first photo while the second photo has a look of isolation about it.

Both excellent!

Good work Bob, . . I prefer #2 coz it's more atmospheric and less cluttered, (if that's a right word) you know what I mean mate.

Nero - In photographic terms clutter = busy.

First one's my fave Bob - the surroundings (and colour) really make it for me... I'd love to live there!

I love both photos, the warmth of the first and the atmosphere of the second.
