Cambridge is a lovely place (My daughter was at uni there too)
It has a wonderful laid back air about it; is architecturally and historically interesting and (being in the east) fairly dry!
Nice pics Sweep - sorry I hadn't seen them before(think I was on hols)

Nice pictures Sweep, I know Cambridge well (I starteed my apprenticeship there and worked for the firm for seven years in total) as a bachelor I lived in Hinton and my first ever serious girlfriend was a Cambridge girl.

The centre (Around the colleges) is well worth a visit, but it is busy, crowded and full of bicycles My advice would be to go during the colledge vacations, slightly quieter and a lot less bicycles
