Lovely pics Dandysmom and Mags Put heating on for first time last night and also put a thermal t-shirt under my sweatshirt for when out walking. Where we walk the trees look lovely with all different coloured leaves-but there are a lot of fallen leaves now on the ground. The honeysuckle hedge at the bottom of my garden has barely any left on.

I'm a wimp. merz, have had a thermal undershirt on several times since it's gotten a bit nippy! We're a good 2 - 3 weeks away from color let on our trees.

Its not being wimpish dandysmom-if your anything like me I don't function if I'm cold-will soon be putting my long-sleeved thermal vests on and when it gets really cold I'll be getting my thermal 'long-johns' out- don't care because nobody can see them under my joggers when I'm out walking

I hate the cold; spend the cold months in thermal long-sleeved top and long johns! Plus wool muffler, wool hat and gloves too.

A skein of wild geese flew over today making a loud 'oik oik' noise, so beautiful and a sure sign that winter is on its way....

The starlings are back from Scandinavia, there's thousands of them flocking here.

Starlings stay here year round; haven't yet heard the geese flying South yet. I love that sound.
