(Don't want dried ones, they have sugar added to them).
Azz, have you tried looking for frozen cranberries in Tesco's? I know Sainsbury's stocked them last year.

Re: My cereal

I rang all the major supermarkets Mags.... then thought about Sainsburys (!) ..and they have some of those frozen packs you mention

They're keeping 6 packs for me - I may even buy more as my cereal just doesn't taste the same with blueberries

Next year I will buy fresh and freeze em

Re: My cereal

I have Blueberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and banana all in with my Weetabix, depending on how much the blueberries are, sometimes they are one pound 99 pence (sorry, can't use the pound sign on my laptop) or sometimes three pounds and 99 pence and I don't buy them if they are the latter price.

Re: My cereal

All very healthy ingredients for a breakfast. Makes my toast and Marmite seem a bit mundane.

Re: My cereal

Lol Mart - Marmite, love it or hate it... I hate it

Alicat - I think weetabix contains sugar? Either way why not give my cereal a try? The apples really do balance out the cranberries and sweeten it up. I actually look forward to it to get my sweetness fix

Re: My cereal

Cranberries do freeze well, Azz, I've done it. but not to eat fresh, to make sauce. I don't know if the texture holds up as well........
