Stunning photos Sue, you certainly sound like you had a great holiday. I love that photo of Ullswater the best with the boats, I have been there in the early 80's, I don't expect it's changed much from then.

Thank you Nero they were amazing there are so many of them I have seen them in Photo mags before now and thought there were only a couple of them and that they were probably stuck in the middle of a field but there are loads of them all wierd and wonderful shapes we had a lovely afternoon there there is a visitor centre there but it was closed due to time of year and there are some lovely walks and views too...

Thanks too Alicat Ullswater is my favourite place we have only been around the back this year up to Martindale and it stunning that side though the road is a bit precarious some good hairpin bends hehe I love em...
