I love my grandchildren to bits, they are 7 and 9 and I must admit that I do worry about what their lives will be like when they reach their teenage years...

I had Sinead when I was 31, biggest shock of my life, I never wanted kids.
the first 19 years was the worst, she,s 20 now and a beautiful young lady, studying law at uni.
I am very proud of her., in saying that....... she was born in the July and hubby was ''attended too'' in the September.

i ask myself, ''why, oh why do folk have more than one??????

the heart ache ive gone through with mine. i realy wish id been a mad cat/dog woman. so much easier family pets. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i love my grandkids loads. just wish my daughter wasnt such a bad mother and kept having them taken away and adopted by SS miss them so much. dont miss my ex daughter

And what is more If you turn the clock back you'll find the old whingers were saying the same things about our generation.

That is why I am here??

Now here is the other side ;

I can remember a good friend telling me his girlfriend was pregnant-he was 18.

He worked hard and did his best. I`m the Godfather to his second daughter and they had four kids in all and are grandparents many times over.

We're showing our age because we are our age! It's traditional for the elders to moan, groan and deplore the younger generation; it's been going on for millennia! Who are we to break the chain?
