Frost this morning and rest of day sunshine and blue sky but remaining chilly! Now its very windy and rain is forecast for tonight-not arrived yet!

Same here in Dorset, chucking it down, dark, dismal and windy. Complete opposite to yesterday.

We had the rotten weather yesterday, rain and a late t'storm about 1 am; sunny and relatively mild now at 13 C (55 F), but howling winds; leaves coming down like mad ... all that raking!

Done nothing but rain hard all day and the strong winds made it even worse!

Having watched the news we have been lucky-flash floods in Cornwall have left people's homes, shops etc flooded. Showed one lady's home where she had lost everything downstairs-apparently the water reached 5ft up the houses. Feel so sorry the people affected-water does such a lot of damage and takes such a long time to clear up after.

it poured rain all night long and was still going for it up until about 08.30 this morning. However there is a slight glimmer of hope by the way of a blue sky peeping through the clouds and dodging the showers today

It was a treat to wake up to blue sky this morning, still quite chilly which is to be expected though.

In the last hour some very ominous grey clouds have formed overhead, here's hoping they pass by....

Sunny and still chilly here, 10 C (49 F), and the howling winds have stopped; there was quite a bit of damage from them, downed trees, etc. But a lovely Autumn day.
