I needed a new swing seat and ropes for the kids' swing this week and Amazon came up trumps again. I had first go to test it mind you.

I always test my grandchildrens swing out ...... just to make sure it's safe of course!

Who remembers dolly blues? It would be put in the washer with the whites to make the whites even whiter.

I remember them, were they a cube shaped thing in cotton? Did we used to put them on bee stings?

The ones we got were like a little muslin bag with a twisted top and yes, they were good for bee stings, probably because they contained bicarbonate of soda.
