Hope he went into hospital with a cooked turkey and trimmings up his jumper!

Seriously, I hope he's doing well and that he'll be back with us again soon. Hospital food is usually pretty dire to say the least, and I'm approximately half the weight of Uncle Joe, and I was famished when I was in hospital.

I lost weight too then I was in this Spring ... food is bland to awful.Do you know, at least one hospital here considers Jello to be "food" ....

I think what you call Jello is what we call jelly, which is usually a dessert, and which we have with cream or in a trifle, but it most certainly isn't filling for a patient recovering.
