The cold front is definitely here, it's nearing 11 am and only 7 C! Today's predicted high is only 14, normal is 22/23; Only occasional peeks of sun and blustery, light rain overnight.

Almost 6.30pm, still 25º and no trace of a cloud.

Another good day forecast for tomorrow .......then we start going downhill on Tuesday.

lucky you.... I had to go to Cockermouth this afternoon and it was foggy for most of the journey and drizzle

I have just posted this onto another page here on the forum, saying that we here in gloucester are having unbelievable weather at the moment.
last week it reached as high as 29c only going to be 26c today it says very strange weather for this time of the year. but enjoying it anyway. Will set us up for the winter.

I lived in Glos in the sixties and the weather was great, we never wore a coat from May till Oct and we had bad winters, lots of snow, the children went to school in Cheltenham and a lot of the time the buses stopped from Brockworth along the Shurdington Road, so they were happy then.Gosh that has taken me back!
