buenas dias all. As expected just another hot day here with temperature going up to 40C and probably above in some areas. I have to laugh at our local forecast which is predicting a heatwave over the weekend. Considering our temperatures in July and August are always high 30s and above, what on earth can constitute a heatwave ?

No plans for today really so I can hopefully get in the pool to cool down then this evening we go to pick up friends, a meal at the Chinese and then drop them off at the airport for their return back to UK, they don´t really want to go so whilst here have booked flights to come back at the end of August. Jan darlin' as I said on another thread only yesterday, I spent several months in India with my Grandparents and Grandad took me to see a colony of 'army' ants on their way to fight another colony - they had to cross a path in the jungle and although the path was quite wide, the colony took most if not all day to cross this path - there were billions of them.
