The East coast is still blanketed in rain from Lee; it's bucketing down now at near 11 am with yet more rain later; we got almost 2" yesterday. A tad warmer, 19 C (66 F), but gloomy nonetheless. Flooding in low lying areas.

Very heavy rain showers all day with a glimpse of the sun inbetween-supposed to be like this all week

Heard on a radio programme yesterday that 'officially' it has been the coldest summer for 20 years-I believe them!

Squally and wet here too and noticeably cooler. Can only hope for an Indian Summer? (Fingers crossed)

Sunny earlier but clouding over a bit now; pleasant at a bit after 11 am: 26 C (79 F), no breeze though.

Tipped from the skies all night and this morning then all afternoon the sun shone! I never know what our days are going to be like nowadays from one hour to the next. Are we supposed to be getting the tail end of America's storm tomorrow? Looking at the map I might just scrape out of it?
