Agility

This is the Agility Course that Dageus has to learn next Spring. It's quite a Big One. I plan to take him out when The Team that Competes in Shows are Training. He always pays great Attention to what the other Dogs are doing and I think it will be good for him to see the Equipment being used by Experienced Collies. I'm really looking forward to starting this but he has to be 1 Year old before he can start. So that's the end of next March, he also has to have Passed his Bronze Obedience Exam.... We just started working on that a couple of Weeks ago, So we have a bit of work to do first lol. Do any of your Dogs do Agility....past or present?

Re: Agility

Looks a brilliant agility course, Roxy. Unfortunatley, Loki never got to go to courses, had to stop her training as well - as after each fit she forgot what she learned! Fits destroy brain cells but they do have enough to compensate but it was like starting at the beginning again! However, she does quite well without the training Sometimes, she remembers.

I am sure Dageus will do well at agility and he will gain his Bronze!

Thank you for sharing those pics and look forward to hearing how he progresses.

Hugs to him xx

Re: Agility

Looks like a great agility course and I think Dageus will enjoy it when he's able to start it.

Re: Agility

Lucky Dageus Roxy. It looks a lovely place to do agility and I am sure you both will enjoy yourselves. I did some agility with a little collie I had years ago and also with the flatcoats. It is great fun and my collie Rob got quite good at it and he was quite fast and accurate. My flatcoat male was a bit too big and clumsey - not fast enough, but Luna did OK. They all enjoyed it, although we never got competitive - it was just good exercise and something to occupy their minds and we met some nice people and dogs. I've not done any agility with Bonnie - I think I am getting too slow to chase about these days.
